How Jim’s Roofing is Managing Covid-19
With an evolving Covid-19 situation that can change daily, Jim’s Roofing is here to assure our customers that we maintain a safe and healthy working environment, no matter what. We are looking after our staff on the road and in the office, plus our customers.
We work in-line with all the latest regulations to ensure every safe practice is followed. And with the knowledge of how quickly things can change when a Covid-19 cluster or outbreak is detected, all of our roofing specialists and staff are following these guidelines:
- Do not come to work if you feel unwell
- Take a Covid-19 test if you show any symptoms, and remain at home until a negative result is confirmed
- Correctly cover coughs and sneezes at work
- Frequently and thoroughly wash hands with soap and water
- Use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser when appropriate
- Sanitise work equipment on the road and in the office
- Minimise direct contact with other staff and maintain a 1.5m gap where possible
Meanwhile, our roofers go above and beyond to provide customers with a safe and hygienic experience. This includes:
- Confirming prior to any job that a potential customer is not experiencing Covid-19 symptoms or is a close contact
- No physical contact inside a customer’s house, including handshakes
- Using gloves and face masks where necessary
- Practising social distancing, even while on site
- Regular sanitisation of hands and equipment
